Louis van Gaal is just about ready to quit as Manchester United
manager, report The Sun. The Red Devils' manager admitted that he has
let the fans down and is questioning his place at the club. He met with
executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward on Sunday and had intense
discussions about the state of the club, as well as the Dutchman's
future. board have also asked the players about their opinions on van
Gaal and the team.

moved on from van Gaal a month ago. It was clear that the team had
problems and van Gaal didn't have any answers. Had the Red Devils moved
to sack van Gaal, the Dutchman probably wouldn't have put up much of a
fight because it's been clear for a while that he's unsure of how to
turn things around. Now the two sides might just come to an agreement on
a separation.
