Antoine Griezmann strikes twice as Atletico Madrid go four points clear

Atletico Madrid went four points clear of Real Madrid at the top of La Liga with an emphatic 3-0 win at La Liga strugglers Las Palmas.

Felipe Luis found the bottom corner to give the visitors the lead at the break, despite the home side being on top for long periods.

Antoine Griezmann should have doubled Atletico's lead early in the second half when he was denied by Javi Varas, but the French international made no mistake in the 68th minute, beating the offside trap and rolling the ball under Varas.

Griezmann put the gloss on the win late on with his second and Atletico's third, finishing well from Koke's through ball.
